The place to meet and eat
Nestled in the heart of chapel Allerton, Crust & Crumb has been serving up tasty food in a friendly and warm environment since 2010.
Starting out as a simple bakery, Crust & Crumb has evolved into a haven of those seeking out tasty food in a cosy setting.
Each day, the counter is filled with all sorts of homemade cakes and treats, from gooey brownies, rocky road, chocolate orange vegan tiffin to hot sausage rolls just out of the oven, made-to-order sandwiches, healthy salads and soups.
Whether you are hankering for a post yoga nibble, a take away meal deal or a hangover-curing ‘Full English’ they have got it covered.
Growing up on a North Yorkshire farm the business owner Nicola has an inherent appreciation for quality local produce. This is showcased in the range of lovely ingredients used in the kitchen
– their meat is from local butchers Sykes House Farm, breads and pastries daily from Bondgate Bakery. Dressings and sauces from Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, Ian Taylor’s for free range eggs are served on the breakfast and used in all the baking. The award winning Bracken Hill supply the jams and chutneys. The free range pork pies are made by Andrew Voakes of Wixley, North Yorkshire.
Crust & Crumb is firmly part of the local community in north Leeds. It is the place to grab a quick takeout lunch and also the place to go for barista quality coffee, a wedge of cake and a good natter with friends. There is so much to be found here that hasn’t been mentioned so why don’t you mosey on down and see for yourself…

A nice, warm, local coffee shop that sells delicious food. The breakfasts are awesome (not many places around here to get a nice full English breakfast, for example) and the amount of vegetarian options is amazing. Great coffee, great staff. Lucky us.
